Samsung Galaxy Buds Live: Features
The app allows you to turn on active noise cancellation, to customize long-press controls for each earbud, use Find My Earbuds to find a lost bud. Six audio presets can also be switched, including Normal, Bass, Soft, Dynamic, Clear and Treble. Each sound mode did a good job of highlighting various frequencies (particularly the bass and treble settings), but in the default setting, I found the best overall sound quality.
When you own a Samsung Galaxy device, the Galaxy Wearable app provides many exclusive benefits. Including hands-free Bixby, control to allow you to check the weather with Samsung’s voice assistant or play a song, without touching your phone.
Samsung Galaxy Buds Live: Design
The Galaxy Buds Live design is unique, stylish and sleek. Though it looks like a pair of beans it fits well in the ears. Buds Live comes in multiple colors such as Mystic Bronze, Mystic Black, or Mystic Red.
Samsung Galaxy Buds Live: Audio Performance
With 12mm speakers and perfectly designed air vents, the audio performance on the Buds Live is rich compared to other earbuds in its price range. The Buds live produced beautiful sounds in all genres of music.
Samsung Galaxy Buds Live: Touch Controls
You can play or pause music with a single tap, skip tracks, or respond to a call with a double-tap, or go to a previous track with a triple-tap in terms of touch controls. You can also choose what happens when you press the buds for a long time, whether you want them to switch active noise cancellation, summon your virtual assistant of choice, adjust the volume (Samsung devices only).
Samsung Galaxy Buds Live: Active Noise Cancellation
The Galaxy Buds Live theoretically offer active noise cancellations, but it’s a very different experience from what you’re to get on more premium buds like the Sony WF-1000XM3 and AirPods Pro. Dubbed “ANC for open type,” Buds Live’s noise cancelation is meant to submerge out small ambient sounds while still allowing you to hear essential sounds such as train announcements or nearby vehicles.
The Galaxy Buds Live noise cancelation is ideal for reducing some small ambient noise and hearing your podcasts a little more clearly. But if you’re trying to block a loud noise from a loud residence or busy road, you’re probably better off going for AirPods Pro or WF-1000XM3.
Samsung Galaxy Buds Live: Battery Performance
One feature that I am fascinated with is the battery life of the Galaxy Buds Live. According to Samsung the Buds Live can last up to 8 hours with the Buds and 21 hours with the case.
