OnePlus Nord N10 5G gets February 2021 security update, while OnePlus Nord N100 is receiving January 2021 security update

The OnePlus Nord N10 5G and OnePlus Nord N100 are the brand’s first-ever budget smartphones. Unlike the company’s other models, the duo is only available in select countries in Europe, US, and others. Although they are only eligible for a single Android update, the firm has been delivering regular maintenance updates for these devices. Hence, they are currently receiving a new security patch update.

Last month, the OnePlus Nord N10 5G became the first OnePlus handset to get the January 2021 security patch update. Now again, it has become the first device from the company to get the February 2021 security patch update. On the other hand, the brand is seeding out the January 2021 security patch update for the OnePlus Nord N100.

Apart from security patches, the new OxygenOS update for this duo also brings improvements and optimizations. The OnePlus Nord N10 5G gets updated GMS package (December 2020) and 5G improvements. Whereas, the update for OnePlus Nord N100 brings improvements for power consumption and network as well as system stability, VoWiFi optimizations, and some bug fixes.
